I might not have come up with it but I did have a thought the past holidays.
I get a few greeting cards so instead of tossing them out, I cut out parts
or the card and put them in little baggies and store with my scrapbooking
stuff. Lots of cool stuff on the cards. Elements, frames, you name it. Even
the words/verses! Heck, you might even want to glue this stuff on to printed
digital scrapbook pages if you want. ;)
Thought I'd share my 'discovery' (though I'm sure others may have thought of
it - it's new to *me* LOL!)
I might even try junk mail, ads, catalogs, etc. to look for more scrapooking
stuff!

Hi -
Thought I'd jump in with my two cents. I have a non-scrapbook / non-digital
recommendation for those holiday cards --
I cut them with crazy scissors around the designs, etc. and use them as my
gift tags for next year's gifts. I have quite a collection in all sorts of
colors, designs and sizes. They really spruce up a package compared to the
sticker labels, and they are easy to tape to the top of a gift bag, without
ruining the bag with a sticker !

I don't usually take time to scan in car parts. Never thought of that,
oddly! LOL! Neat idea though.

Great ideas! :) I use crazy scissors for cutting edges too. Loads of fun
with this stuff. You've got some great 'recycling' ideas. :)
