It may just be that plugin will not run under vista So you can save yourself
some time and use the effects :-Image effects Seamless tiling

Hello,
I work with PSP 8 and Vista.
Normally i have no problems only when i re-installed Vista en PSP all the
plugins work only this one not.
What i have tried was a re-install of this plugin and delete the plugin and
then a re-install.
No luck.
Also when i install PSP 7 and then use this plugin PSP crashes.
Who knows how i can solve this ?

This plugin has worked on Vista for a few months.

There are two main problems with plug-ins under Vista. The first
concerns DEP (data execution protection). You can turn it off for
PSP as described in this Microsoft link http://snurl.com/1wqok.
The second problem involves plug-ins created with Filtermeister
as the Simple Quick Tile filter was, which involves Vista memory
management with more than 2 GB RAM and a limitation of Filtermeister.
The solution is for the plug-in's author to recompile the plug-in
with latest version of Filtermeister. You have to prevail on him
for that. In the meantime, the Effects > Image Effects > Seamless
Tiling filter in PSP is much more flexible than Quick Tile.

I don't think the issue is how much RAM you have but the fact
that Vista can address more than 2 GB of RAM.
