Unless you have kept the original serial number somewhere since you
originally purchased the software, I don't think there is a way to recover
it. Perhaps somebody knows if it is recorded in a registry entry
somewhere.

I know this won't help now, but for future reference, when you purchase
software on a disc where the serial number is provided separately than on
the disc itself, it pays to actually write it on the disc. Similarly, when
you download software and get a serial by email, it pays to burn a backup
copy of the download to disc and write the serial on the disc.

It's on a card in the box if you purchased a boxed version and
in an email from Jasc if you purchased a downloaded version.

That's assuming PSP 8 even has a serial number.

I have PSP 8.1 on one machine, thinking of taking it off this one and
putting it on another....how can I find the serial number of the installed
one?

Thanks for all your responses.
I bought this program years ago.
I have since lost the box. On the original Cd
the following is listed: 01-PSP8-US.
I am sure this is not the SN but it is all I have.
Again thanks.
I will probably just try to install to the new machine
before I delete it from the old and see what happens.
