The foreground-background gradient is always one that starts
with whatever color is set in the foreground swatch and ends
with whatever color is set in the background swatch. When you
change these the gradient will change as well. I don't
remember the exact default foreground and background colors
with which your PSP starts when it is first installed but
in general terms the colors are ketchup red and mustard yellow.
Because of this the foreground-background gradient will be
from ketchup to mustard when you access the gradient droplist
immediately after installing PSP. However, as soon as you set
any color new color in the Material Palette the gradient will
change to match. It's therefore not very meaningful to try and
set the foreground-background gradient to some default value.

You messed it so rename it and plce the enclosed in your gradiants. Its an
easy mistake to make so the old hand make all the gradiant supplied with PSP
read only
