Header goes away

While I'm here, occasionally I will accidentally hit "something"
that makes the top part of my PSP8 screen go away ..
the one that has " File  Edit  View  Action .... Help".
I can not figure out how to get it back.
 I have to Ctrl/Alt/Del to quit the program, and THAT
ain't right. Please to help. Thanks.

You are going into full screen edit use Shift + A to toggle back

Thanks. I guess I have a lot to learn about Windows, too.

While you're in full screen edit mode you can still get to the menus. Just a 
sliver of them still shows at the top of the screen, and clicking anywhere 
hard up against the top edge will open a menu, and moving the mouse left and 
right will cause each menu to open in turn.
All the menus can be opened using standard Windows keyboard shortcuts too... 
Alt + F brings up the File menu of the current program, Alt + E the Edit 
menu, and so on. There are usually several different ways to do anything in 
Windows.
Also, any Windows program that hasn't crashed can be closed by hitting 
either Alt + F4 or (usually) Alt + F + X .
