Yes, I noticed that it was Pluto, which I had also never heard of, and
why I suggested trying another news client. Perhaps Pluto does
something strange to the headers.
When you do test with another news client, use the exact same message
that you failed with using Pluto.

Glad to see we've at least narrowed it down to the specific new client. It
must add something to the headers that the 'bot doesn't like. Or, perhaps,
you are trying to send MIME encoded rather than UUEncoded messages with
Pluto. See if there is an option for that.
