The icons have changed because your file associations have
changed. An association is when you double-click a data file
and that causes a program to start to open the data file.
The association tells Windows what program to start for that
type of data file. In PSP you can go to File > Preferences >
File Format Associations and associate most files with PSP.
However, that doesn't work for PSP native files (.PspImage,
..PspTube, and so on). Instead find any one .PspTube file in
Windows Explorer. (It will help if you make set Explorer to
show file extensions.) Right click on the name and choose
Open With (not Open) from the context menu and then Choose
Program. Select PSP from the list or by browsing to it. Make
sure that "Always use the selected program to open this kind
of file" is checked and press OK. All .PspTube files should
now be associated with PSP and show the PSP icon.

Yesterday the images on my tubes have stopped showing. All I see is the
palette. Not all but most. When I went to Folder options, I noticed that the
icon has changed for PSP file types. It now has a paint brush next to that
palette. On the PS file types, its still just the palette. Does any one know
how to change the PSP file format icon back to the plain palette icon?
I did install an update yesterday. Big mistake I guess.
thank you
