Has something happened to the Corel PSP v8 newsgroup? Parhaps it has been
discontinued?
As of 2/18/2008 that newsgroup dimmed out in the Outlook Express left panel,
as well as dropped any count within brackets as the other newsgroups show,
and the right panel items are dimmed out and end as of 2/18/2008.
I have tried the right-click "catchup" on the newsgroup name in the
left
panel: that was no solution
I have tried syncronizing the newsgroup accounts on cnews.corel.com: that
was no solution.
I have tried unsubscribing to the corel.PaintShopPro8 newsgroup and
resubscribing: that was no solution.
I tried rebooting my PC: that was no solution.
Has something happened to the Corel PSP v8 newsgroup? Or do I have some
oddball problem that is unique to my PC/OS/other software?

I think the problem is on your end. The last posts in my reader are
on Feb 21, two each in threads "problems with icons" and "problem
with the offset command."

I had tried to reply to the response to my post on th 18th and was not
successful.
I show that 2/28 post as the LAST to that newsgroup.
Since I still use v8 and appreciate that newsgroup, I have been concerned.
Fred may be right about there being some problem on my end [my PC]. But, I
dont know what to do to find a solution other than what I have already done
1) reboot, 2) unsubscribe and resubscribe,3) catchup, 4)syncronize.
