When trying to install PSP 9 on a computer with Vista Operating System I get
error message that says: Error 1311. Source file not found
C:/users/BrendaB/AppData/Local/Temp/Temp3_PSP9 Retail.zip/PSP9
Retail/Data1.Cap. Any suggestions aprreciated..

I think it is Data1.cab not Data1.cap. Put the file where Vista
expects to find it.

Thanks for the reply Tim,
This is for a friend, because they don't feel comfortable following
instructions on the computer because of their lack of computer knowledge so
I said I would relay the information, and help them with the instruction..
They are installing from a retail zip on a CD(given to them by someone else,
not purchased)..That is why I think that the link you provided might work
for them.
I will have them try it and then get back to you...

Yes, Spandex it is cab and not cap...thanks for the correction and the
reply..
When you say put the files where Vista expects to find it..do you mean in
the Data1.Cab folder?

Are you installing from an account with administrative priveleges?
Are you using a CD or a downloaded file to install from?
