Registration Number

I got a CD of PSP 9 via an Amazon vendor. Supposedly it is quite legal
and was told to register on-line. I did this and nothing is requested
when installing on winxp.

I tried to install on Linux using wine, but now it wants registration
numbers. Any idea how I can get these. I don't want to go higher than
version 9. I suppose I could bite the bullet and use Gimp, but I really
like PSP better.

Jasc did not use Serial numbers but did like you to register Then if you
wanted the discounted update version of the next PSP they cheeked and if you
where registered sold it to you.
Corel took over just after PSP 9 and they use serial Numbers.
So much for the history. Now why Linux wants a reg no I dont know
