Cole, as Joske said Gary's site is having problems. I have all of his
scripts, but they are many and run the gamut of possible things that
scripts can be used for to make PSP more productive, many used as
specialized tool enhancements, etc. Given that you seem to have quite a
limited need, I doubt you'd enjoy rooting through so many scripts to see
if one helps you out.

You say you do "some icon work", but what specific things would you
want
a script to do to help you with that?

Other than the "some" work you do with icons, what other work do you
do,
and what specific things would you want a script for to help you with
that aspect of your PSP usage? Scripts, for the most part, are best for
either facilitating repetitive workflow, or for producing specific
effects, and the latter is normally used in graphic/image manipulation.

In other words, you'd have to be much more specific about exactly what
you wish to achieve with scripts for anybody to be able to provide any
useful input regarding your search.

Regards,

You mention 'icon work' and a few places, but that doesn't make it any
clearer what you're looking for. If you look back in this group, you'll find
several people have posted all the scripts by Gary Barton; many of them are
worth having.

Maybe you'll also find something worthwhile on my site (below).

Newbie, looking for more resources

Hi all
I've been browsing this group for some time. Although I've been using
PSP for a while - first 7, then 8 for a brief while and now X - I hadn't
discovered scripts. Now that I have, they seem like a really cool thing
and I've been using them for a lot of the mundane things I had to do by
hand, before.

Unfortunately, there does not seem to be as many resources for PSP
scripts as their are for the PS counterpart, actions. I've been making
my own simple ones based off of tutorials but would like more to download.

I've browsed many of the links posted here as well as some of the
scripts for download but I wonder if there's scripts that are more in
line with the type of graphics I like to work with. I don't really work
with photos (and many scripts are for photos manips, framing, etc) so
those don't interest me. I've checked out Sheilsoft but most of that
doesn't interest me or apply to what I do.

I do some icon work and have checked out LJ communities to no avail.
Scripts similar to that style would be nice. Also, I'm interested in
scripts for tagging/framing in the style of Chatropolis avs. Suz has
some which are similar and I've downloaded but I'm wondering if there's
some places I haven't seen?

I know it might just be that, since fewer people use scripts for PSP,
there aren't as many out there in the way of what I want but I thought
if there are, I'd give it a shot.

I think there's quite a few ideas to be had from both Gary and my scripts,
as well as those you already saw by Suz. I'd like to add

http://www.digitalartresources.com/

Gary has a site, but he has provider problems. This is why I advised you to
look back in this group for the zipped files.

Well, I'm not looking for something all that specific. I just know that
most of what I've run across isn't what I need/like. So I'm open for new
ideas but there doesn't seem to be that many.

Are the scripts by Gary Barton provided on the net anyplace?
