| PING Katherine & Vanessa - Triptych script |

As you two are using v.8, could you let me know if Howards script (the new
one for v.8) runs properly for you? I ran into 2 issues, one where it
stops at line 291, and a second where, if the foreground materials swatch
is any color but white the background of the canvas takes on the color of
the foreground materials swatch rather than the background swatch.
I have found a workaround, but would like to know if it is an issue only
with my PSP 8.10 (which I still have, even though I use v.9), or if others
using v.8 have the same problem.
Regards,

Nice to see it works in everything :-) I was just aiming for it to work in
my v.8, because I was concerned that it was my v.8 that was at fault and
perhaps Howard's v.8 of the script works in everybody else's v.8 of PSP.
Of course, my version will also set both the foreground and background
materials palette swatches to white, but I don't suppose that will hurt
anybody. I still can't figure out why the foreground color gets selected
when the previous script versions are run in PSP8 but the (proper)
background color gets selected when they are run in PSP9 and above.

No problem Howard. For me, it was an exercise in trying to figure out
why the incorrect material is being chosen, and I'll still be looking
for feedback from other v.8 users as to whether your v.8 script chooses
the incorrect (i.e. Foreground) swatch color instead of the background
swatch's white color. I could see nothing in your v.8 script that would
cause that, which is why I'm wondering if it's just my PSP8
installation. In other words, even if my edited version works, the
mystery still remains, which will give me sleepless nights! :-)
Maybe Suz will download your v.8 of the script and check it out. She's
much more perceptive and knowledeable than me for sure!

Joe,
Thanks for your efforts... unfortunately I can't check your version, as
I don't have PSP8 installed, but I'm sure it'll be fine... and thanks
Vern for the feedback.

Howard
