I'd expect the message asking for the CD to also present an option
to browse for the downloaded installation file on your hard drive.
If it does not, a call to customer support (not tech support) would
be in order.

Hi,
My Dell PC came with Paint Shop Pro pre-installed and I then upgraded the
version myself online...
I purchased Paint Shop Pro X version 10.01 online and when I try to upgrade
to the Vista version by trying to download to 10.02 then 10.03 etc the
installer asks for the original CD-ROM but I don't have one as I just
downloaded the software, and the original was pre-loaded.
How do I upgrade to the new Vista version without the original CD-ROM?
Any suggestions?

Also, when installing the patches you should download and install them,
don't try doing it with the auto update feature. Patch installation
