When I use my Prt Sc key to capture, then right click and Paste as New
Image, I get this error statement: Unable to get the data from the
clipboard. Using PSPX. Any ideas why PSP can't get the data from the
clipboard anymore? Thanks.

Are you perhaps trying to capture some video or some Flash object?
Those often do not work with Prt Scr. Try capturing something plain
vanilla. Next, restart Windows.
Still no go? Then please write back with more detail. What version
of Windows? What version of PSP 10? Exactly what is on the screen
when you press Prt Scr? Can you paste into IrfanView, MS Paint, or
some other app that accepts graphic images?

Most likely there is no data of the right kind on the clipboard.
Are you trying to make a screen capture from video? If so, open
the Options menu in your media player, turn down the Hardware
Acceleration to None, if there is a choice to turn off overlays
do that too, and try again. If you are not capturing video but
are using some kind of clipboard manager, disable the manager and
try again.

I've had the same problem recently, but don't know what caused it. I would
have PSP-X-03 on top (trying to get a picture of PSP), hit "Print
Screen"
and get that error message when attempting to paste into PSP. I finally got
the Print Screen funtion back, but can't point to anything and say that that
is the culprit. I did uninstall and reinstall several versions of a CAD
program and ran Norton WinDoctor in between. That may have helped in curing
what was wrong.
You could try a "Repair" instead of "Reinstall" of PSP to
see if that helps.

Running XP SP2 and PSPP XI...I have also been experiencing this problem and
I get the same error message. I try not to have a lot of aps running, and
usually with 1G of RAM, I don't get this in any other program. And it has
been within the last few months that I have been having this problem.
I open the Clipboard and there is a written message that there is not enough
memory etc. but I don't really think that is the problem because if PSP
won't accept it...and if I have Word 2002 open, I can ctrl+v and paste the
image there. To copy the image from Word and past it into PSPP XI works, but
the picture is horrid.
However, having said all of that, if I reboot I can usually get the image I
want with no problem. It is irritating and I don't really know the actual
solution other than getting more RAM. And that would cost me around $100.00
or maybe a bit more; there is no way at the present money-crunch time that I
can justify that much just to relieve a small problem. And it doesn't seem
to matter that I have only been up and running for a short period of time
either; it seems to be a random happening. I cannot foretell when it will
happen.
Sorry not to be of help, but I'll be watching this thread in the hopes that
a solution other than more RAM, if indeed this is the reason, will pop up.
Not holding my breath though, LOL.
