When ever I reboot lately and bring up psp x, a box comes up and wants me to
register it. It's been registered when I installed it maybe a couple of
years ago or a little after it came out...since there is no support for X
and of yes I forgot a window comes up and asks to please inset a disk in
drive G...Any help would be appreciated..

Thanks Tim...are you saying to let it install again because thats what it's
trying to do. I do not want to reinstall pspx. I have too many plugins and
do not want to have to reinstall them too. I guess I will just have to see
the register window comes up every month...thanks LB

Have you tried putting in the install disk and letting it run? "It" in
this
case is Windows Installer, which has decided that something has changed or
been damaged (probably something quite minor) and needs fixing.

Sorry, I didn't make it clear. No you don't have to reinstall PSP X. Windows
installer has probably found that one or two minor things have changed, and
after you put the disk in the drive it will correct that minor problem, but
it won't reinstall the whole program and certainly won't effect your
plugins.
(Even if you did totally reinstall PSP X it wouldn't touch your plugins. At
worst you might have to add the location of the plugins to the File
Locations Preferences after a full reinstall, but you won't even need to do
that after the minor repair that Windows Installer will perform).
Re-registering should happen automatically and only take a few seconds.
Sometimes uninstalling PSPP X2 causes PSP X to want to repair a couple of
things the next time you start it, but the whole process is quick, automatic
and won't damage anything at all. Just let it run.
