| Painter 6.1 Not enough memory |

Hi
I need to laod some very large files into Painter 6.1 so I've upgraded
physical memory from 512MB to 2048MB. Now Painter 6.1 fails to start with an
error message "Not enough free memory to run..."
Looking through Corel Knowledgebase and this newsgroup there is discussion
on virtual memory size, but I've tried all sorts of options, large, small
and none - nothing changes and P6.1 won't run!
Swapping the memory back is a non-starter as I'm not tech-savvy and got the
local repair shop to upgrade it with 2 x 1GB DIMMS - no going back lightly!
Any help/ideas greatly appreciated - I desperately need to get this work out
PDQ!

Hi Ian,
Did you try the fix for this as outlined in the following link?;
