FAQ on Corel Painter Essential 2

Hi,

I would like to check on details regarding Corel Painter Essential 2.

So,based on the previous posting, Corel Painter Essential 2 is based on 
Corel Painter 8 core.

I have a monitoring program,when I observe this student who is working on 
his Wacom tablet with Corel Painter Essential 2, Corel Painter Essential 2 
just closes without informing the user. (and without saving any work too)

However, when I tried the trial version of Corel Painter Essential 3, it 
works fine.

Is it a bug in Corel Painter Essential 2? If it is, are there future patches 
for it? If not, is there any upgrade programs or anything like that to 
upgrade to Corel Painter Essential 3.

My Corel Painter Essential 2 comes free with the Wacom Tablet and I bought 
around 40 pieces for my school.
