| Painting and clone source out of sync.... |
 |

Help - I'm about 6months new to Corel Painter IX.5 - and coming along fine -
except when I'm doing a painting and then close and resume another day - the
painting and the clone source get out of sync -- making restoration
impossible. Is it possible to re-align the painting and the clone
source???? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx in advance for any assistance. Robin

Robin,
If you created your Clone image by using File > Clone or File > Quick
Clone, and your Clone Source image and Clone ever aligned properly, they
still should. Reason: The Clone is an exact copy of the original, or
Clone Source image.
If you mean that, after closing the Clone and Clone Source images,
closing Painter, then relaunching Painter and opening the Clone and
original image (formerly the Clone Source image), you want to
reestablish the connection between the Clone and original image so you
can continue clone painting:
1. Open both images.
2. In the File menu, choose Clone Source and check the file name of the
original image to again specify it as the Clone Source.
3. Make the Clone active and continue clone painting.
