On the Property Bar, look for "Fill:" click on the down pointing
arrow,
choose
Current Color.

For the life of me I cannot figure this one out. Anytime I use the
selector tool or shape tool for a paint bucket fill and select a gradient I
cannot get back to one solid color for the paint bucket fill. The only
way that I can figure to shut it off is close down the program and restart.
When you open the program the paint bucket fill is automatically set for one
solid color fill. When you switch to a gradient for a fill, I cannot
figure out for the life of me how to return to the single color fill.
Cannot find the answer to this question in the Corel Painter 8 manual, or
the help section within the 9 program. Anyone know how to change back
without having to restart program?

That works, thanks. Now I remember this from somewhere in the past.
Memory failure here.
