computer configuration questions - cross posted on x3 &

Hi Folks,

I am in the midst of configuring a new computer and have a few questions 
which input from the expertise in this group might help me in making my 
decisions.

1)    Vista 64 vs Vista 32
Both HP and Epson have vista 64 drivers for my printers/copiers/scanners, so 
I think it makes sense to just cross the 32/64 bit divide now - thoughts?

2)    An older camera which does not have a usb interface will have to have 
the memory card extracted for reading in the new configuration, while I am 
assuming a newer camera which has a USB interface will still be accessible 
from Vista 64 - thoughts?

3)    CPU configurations
I have a choice of a 2.4M quad core or 3.16M dual core with Intel's new 45nm 
technology - no price difference - any thoughts on the choice?

BTW, I am planning to buy a Velocity Micro Pro-Magix HD60.
