First, I think yo want to have a TRANSPARENT background...you may have to
Copy>Paste the image...it will appear as an OBJECT on a seperate layer, and
you can right click the Background layer, and DELEte selected...
The 'Magic Wand " masking tool will be your starting point. Select it,
click
it in the background, and it should mask the background color (the results
won't be perfect) so you add to the mask selection using other mask tools.
Once you get the area masked off, you INVERT the mask, so you're masking the
guitar, instaaed of the background, Then MASK>
MASK>OUTLINE>feather...feather the edges...say 8 pixels...then hit your
Delete button on the keyboard.
yOU WILL HAVE TO EXPERIEMENT TO GET THE BEST RESULTS WITH THE VARIABLES,,,
