| Rotating Images Without Losing Quality |

Can anyone advise me please if it is possible to rotate a photo in Paint 11
a small number of degrees without losing much
quality. This would be useful for straightening a crooked picture without
distorting people's faces.
I know that if the image is rotated 90/180/270 degrees there is no loss of
quality. It seems that CorelDraw/Paint 11 rotates an image a small number of
degrees by sliding blocks of pixels relative to one another causing some
straight lines to look jagged or cut up peoples faces. I have used Arcsoft
photo studio for Canon to rotate images without seeing the jagged distortion
of straight lines. Is there a limitation in Paint 11 or is there a work
around?
Your advice would be appreciated
Kind Regards
Chris

There's no such thing as rotating odd angles and maintaining quality.
You alway lose!
I just did a test using a bmp with a red rectangle and rotated it in
PP11 and PS5 by 2 degrees. No visible difference. If you are getting
the PP11 version with stairsteps, you may have forgotten to check the
Anti-aliasing box. In PS5 you have no choice, it always uses
anti-alias.
