PP equivalent of PS Levels

Is "local equalization" in PhotoPaint the same as "levels"
in Photoshop?
If not, what is? And if so, how are they different? If at all.

Sorry, I meant "Contrast enhancement" in PhotoPaint. I was just
remembering the menu items wrong.

yes, Contrast Enhancement is the same thing as Levels. And if you use a Lens
for this, it's for the most part identical. There may be a few naming
conventions that are different, but they operate the same. If you use the
Lens, it's non-destructive. If you use the Adjust menu and apply it directly
to the object/layer, it is permanent in its change (hint: use the lens).

OK, Thanks. After all these years I'm just now getting into this a
little more deeply (CorelDraw was always the program I wanted)...so how
do I "use a Lens"??
