What is the PhotoPaint equivalent of a "luminosity blend" in
Photoshop?
Is there one? Or a work around?
Is there a luminosity mode in objects"

Hunter,
I believe it is in one of your tutorials I found on the net (I'll have
to check further see if I can run it down), you mention a "luminosity
blend" in reference to Photoshop...oh yeah, on the "Power of
Ten."

One of the reasons I asked here was because I know you keep tabs on this
forum.
The "luminosity mode" is in conjunction with Photoshop again and using
layers and sharpening with an unsharp mask as detailed in this tutorial:

(most of the way down)

Could you point us to an example of what you mean by a "luminosity
blend"?
Or are you talking about a merge mode? IIRC, what PS calls Luminosity, PP
calls Lightness. So there is a Lightness merge mode and you can split an
images channels to HLS which would let you pull out the Lightness channel.

Nope, that's not me :)
Interesting article, though. One way I've done some sharpening is running
High Pass on a layer and then changing its merge mode to Hard Light.
