BlankYou can do two things, one is to reset the application to it's default,
that is done by pressing F8 while starting Photo-Paint, be aware that any custom
settings you have made will be gone. The brush reset is located in the brush
settings dockers upper right hand corner, it's a little triangle to the right of
the Stroke style label.

I seem to have a problem like someone in March 2007 where my clone tool is all
of a sudden not working where it has been for a couple of years without any
problems. I don't know what I have done and I saw the answers to the query
someone had in March 07 where it said reset brush tools. When I look up the help
section I cannot find how to do this - I''ve looked up Brush Tools, Resetting,
and other similar phrases/words to try and find the right section. Sorry to be
thick, but please could someone tell me how to do this!!
thanks again

BlankSorry, I should have posted a screen shot of the elusive brush menu, I do
hope that your little excursion has given you a better inside of the not so well
known areas of the UI. Glad you did got it fixed!

thanks so much Alfred - after much hand wringing - In my search for that
elusive triangle and trying to find the command I somehow got rid of my menus,
property bar etc and could not find it. Eventually I did after half an hour! I
have now re-set my brushes and the clone tool works. Yippee
thanks again
