Problem with "download only new photos" option

I recently downloaded a trial version of Photo Album 6 to try it out.  I'm 
having a problem with one of the new features.  The option "Download only 
new photos when getting all photos" doesn't seem to work.

I have a Canon Digital Rebel XTi and I'm connecting it via USB.  First I 
downloaded all images on the camera (85 images).  Then I turned off the 
camera, disconnected it and took 3 more pictures.  I hooked it back up, 
selected "Camera / View Images" and clicked the Get All button.  I
confirmed 
that the "only new photos" option was turned on and then clicked OK. 
But it 
downloaded all 88 images instead of just the new 3 images.

Any ideas on what the problem is?  By the way, I'm running the latest 
version (v6.3.3).
