I WANT TO DOWNLOAD A FOLDER OR A COLLECTION TO A MEMORY CARD (SD ULTRA 11 ;
1GB) TO PUT INTO AN ELECTRONIC PICTURE FRAME. I AM TRYING TO DO IT VIA THE
DOWNLOAD TO PORTABLE PLAYER FUNCTION BUT ERROR NOTICES ARE COMING UP. CAN
ANYONE HELP PLEASE.
I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS LOADING PHOTOS ONTO THE PC BUT FROM A DIFFERENT
MEMORY CARD.

In a newsgroup typing in ALL CAPITALS is considered the same
as shouting at people, which is normally a bit rude. What has
putting images in a folder on a memory card got to do with
applying picture frames to the images? I'm a little stupid and
can't understand.

First of all, why don't you just use Windows Explorer to copy
a folder from one device (your hard disk) to another (your
memory card)? Second, do you think that keeping the content of
the error messages from readers of this newsgroup helps or
hinders them from making a diagnosis about the problem you
have?

Without some more information I'm a bit dubious about someone
being able to help you.

The above sentence refers to copying photos from a memory card
to the hard disk of your computer. The opening sentence of your
post indicates you are trying to transfer files in the *opposite*
direction. This means that your success with copying from card
to PC is irrelevant. If we are talking about compact flash cards,
they are designed to be written by cameras. Sometimes they may
present issues when you try to write to them by other means.
Knowing what error messages you are getting would be a good
start in figuring this out. Bear in mind that you can get help
by going to http://support.corel.com and using the Email Corel
link to describe your problem and request advice. I would give
that a go if I were you since this newsgroup is not very active.
