Getting Started Problem

Getting Started Problem
Wed, 19 Mar 2008 17:50:58 -050
I've been downloading and trying several slideshow/album products to find
one to meet my needs.

This Photo Album 6 just doesn't make any sense.

When I click on Create then Album Page it shows three layounts.
When I click on one it backlights, but nothing happens.

If I click on other Choose a Project choices, same thing happens - nothing.

I've look through the helps for 15 minutes now, and they are generally so
vague and superficial as to be useless.

I expected a LOT more from Corel.

I tried the suggestion I saw to uninstall/install the flash from the Corel
directory and this did not help.

I had that problem when I ran the JV16 registry cleaner. Had to
reinstall.

Looking for Product

I'm not having much luck finding a product to do what I want, even tho the
requirements seem pretty basic.

I want to be able to create a slideshow DVD of my pictures, but I need to be
able to add the title and some descriptive text (e.g. description of the
event, people in the picuture, etc.).

Some products, like Nero, have most of this, but the only way to add text is
on top of the pictue itself or with very limited text (e.g. just a title).
No good.

Has anyone seen a product which does this?

Check out Jalbum. I think what you are looking for is more of an Authoring
program for creating DVD type menus. I use a couple but they are in the
$300 price range. Maybe checkout the ULead offerings. PA-6 is a
catalogger and image finder..

Did you mean that you uninstalled Adobe Flash Player using the
latest uninstaller? Adobe Flash Player can not be installed with
PA6. That also has done the trick for me.
