When I click to save a new WPG image, I am asked whether I want to save
it as
WPG 7/8/9 (WordPerfect Graphics 7/8/9), or as
WPG 2.0 (WordPerfect Graphics 6.0), or as
Other
and the second radiobutton is selected.
This doesn't make sense to me. Isn't the first the latest format of WPG
files? If yes, shouldn't it be selected by default?
Can I make presentations save a new file as a WPG 7/8/8 (supposing it is
the most advanced) when I click Save if it is a new image, without being
asked how I want to save it?
And when I click Save As and choose to save an image as JPEG, is it
possible to make Presentations *not* ask me if I want to save the file
when I click to close it after I have already saved it as JPEG?
Thanks,
Eustace

You can quickly record a macro to bypass that step for you... or just
wait until Roy writes one and posts it here. ;)

Ha!
Yes, recording a macro should be a good idea. Then putting a link to it
on a Menu or Toolbar is another. But I just tried this in Pres11, and I
saw no Dialog asking for the choice. I do see an option in
Tools|Settings|Environment:
Save my drawings by default in the following format...
I have 11.0.0.410
On launch, my Pres11 is throwing up the
...information in the Windows registration is missing or incorrect...
and I have not got around to fixing it. (Still getting this PC as I wish
it to be [more or less].)
I do not think that this would affect the issue.
Actually, I was waiting, hoping for some enlightenment on the matter of
> WPG 7/8/9 (WordPerfect Graphics 7/8/9), or as
> WPG 2.0 (WordPerfect Graphics 6.0), or as
since I have no knowledge of any differences between them or the
significance of any differences - except ISTR that the later WPO viewer
can cope with one and not the other (and I do not remember which is
which).

You want to stick with version 1.0 or 2.0 to get the preview to work
with it... :)
