If this above doesn't work you may have to turn hypterthreading off
(assuming it's an Intel processor).

When I import an image (bmp, jpg, tif etc) into Presentations Version
12.0.0602 on an XP (SP2) machine I only get half the image, the other
half is black. If I open the same show on a Win 2K machine I can import
the bitmap without problem. If I save that show and open it on the XP
machine the bitmaps display properly but I still can't import a whole
bitmap. Both the XP and 2k machines have 2Gb RAM and plenty of spare
HDD. They have different video cards/drivers. Any clues?
I've been building slide shows with Presentations for over 8 years so I
don't think I'm doing anything dumb but it is possible. The XP machine
is new.
Cheers

It seems to be an XP thing -
I find this from Tom, re: WP, on 2 April 2003:

Glad to hear.
Others may be helped if you will report whether a) your PC has
the hyperthreading feature and b) if so, whether it is enabled.

Thanks for that Lemoto - worked a treat - I set it to Win2000
compatability and I now get whole bitmaps.
Cheers
