export rtf - footnote issue

hi,

i haven't been reading this newsgroup for a while,
but i remember that there's been an issue regarding
exporting files which contains footnotes/endnotes to rtf

i have been coping with this problem for years,
but i think that i finally solved it

so, the solution (at least for me) is:

- export as rtf, set all options to rtf markup

- open rtf file in notepad (or other text editor, NOT MS WORD)

- do the following

        find "{\footnote"
        or
        find "{\endnote"

        replace with "\chftn {\footnote \chftn"

- save file and open it in word

- you may need to convert all endnotes to footnotes,
and do some 'make up', but that should do it

PS. DO NOT OPEN AND SAVE FILE IN MS WORD AFTER EXPORTING
AND BEFORE REPLACING IN NOTEPAD, OR IT WANT WORK!
