Deleting Pages
Tue, 12 Feb 2008 14:10:03 -050
I have just completed a 22 page report, however, it insists that there are
23 pages which screws up my colating when I print more than one copy of the
report. The 23rd page is in the report but I can't delete it. I have removed
the header and footer, checked to make sure there is not data on the page
and then use <Page> <delete>. The page appears to disappear, then
when I
check it again it is back with both the header and footer intact. I'm going
nuts! Has anyone had this problem? How do I get rid of the blank page?
Thanks,

Farny

Check the page ahead of it. If it has a frame that forces the underlying
text or paragraph marker off of that page, Ventura automatically creates a
following page. Sometimes, the problem can be eliminated by placing the
cursor on the last page and hitting backspace.

Neil

Thanks very much Neil. I tried your suggestion and after deleting the page
again after your suggestion and then changing the number of pages in the
printer routine box, the page 23 appears to be gone! I enjoy working with
Ventura 10 but sometimes i
t throws a curve at you!

Old Ventura users never die, they just lose their style...
