I have been absent from the group for quite a while (because Ventura 10 has
been running so flawlessly :-)), so i am a bit behind. Has anybody been
successful in getting Ventura 10 to run under Vista? If not, am i correct
in assuming i can run 2 operating systmes on my new computer? Can I install
XP to run Ventura and still use Vista for everything else?

thanks, as always, for your help

LaVonne,

I have been running Vista exclusively for several months. Ventura does
not present any problems (so far!)

Steve

Steve! This is wonderful news. :-) Just a straight-out install? No
special drivers to download or anything? I thought i saw an earlier post
that indicated problems with Vista, but i just went back to it and saw that
it was possibly a different version. I will have to check which version i
have on my new machine.

Thank you, thank you -- the last thing i needed was for my livelihood not to
work on my new computer.

6 months here on Vista with Ventura 10 (fully patched :-) and not so
much as a hiccup with VP. Still the odd crash and moan that has been
with VP10 since it launched, but still works great.

This is great news. I will be setting up my new machine tomorrow. I would
appreciate any direction you can give me toward patching. Where are the
current patches? Which ones do I need? -- i have been absent soooooooooo
long :-)

So as not to bore everybody else who may already know this, you are welcome
to email me directly at lochs1313@comast.net.

Thanks, Stephen
