If by any chance you have XP-SP-3 Beta release candidate there is a huge
printing problem with that, PCL printers and Arial and one other font. I
haven't looked at your file to see what fonts it is using, but the
release notes for XP-SP3 spell the problem out very clearly, with NO
solution.
(I have no intention of getting SP-3 for XP but looked at it out of
curiosity as quite a few people in the various newsgroups reported they
were going to or had applied it. Someone in another group is even
claiming it is not a Beta (and it definitely *is* a Beta!!!)).

I created a quick PDF and didn't see anything weird in columns 3 and 4. Can
you create a PDF that shows the problem you're having and post it?

After creating the pdf and not seeing the problem either, I printed the page
on another printer and sure enough - everything appears fine! I guess it is
a printer driver problem?

Yeah, it sure sounds like it. I checked the markup code in the table you
initially posted and didn't see anything weird at all, so I really don't
think this is a Ventura problem.
