rulers

Suddenly, for no apparent reason, my rulers only show inch increments. 
By that I mean that there is no half inch mark, no quarter inch 
mark...no way to position a guideline dragged from the ruler  with any 
kind of accuracy.

I have looked for a setting that would control this but cannot find 
anything.

Can someone help or tell me what is going on?

I suggest closing Ventura and opening it again. Make sure you don't have too 
many other programs open. I've seen Ventura do strange things when resources 
get low.

Thanks for the reply. Your suggestion was one of the first things I 
tried. I also "saved as"--no joy there either.

I'd really like my rulers back!!
