| 'Refreshing' the text |

I just created my Glossary in Page View with the entries and definitions
chaining each other.
Now I want to Small Caps the entries where they're NOT capitals. I'm
going to try to do this with TextPad.
When I'm done, how do I refresh the text in V8? In the past, I've
deleted the text file out of the Navigator and then Imported it back in.
There _should_ be a better/simpler way. Is there?

Use 'Export on Save' in Ventura, then, edit the exported text file in TextPad.
When it's complete, re-Open your VP file and the
text file will be re-imported.
Doing this, though, you MUST make sure that the markup that you're applying in
TextPad is indeed valid Ventura markup, else, it
could cause trouble when you open your VP file and the text is automatically
re-imported.
BEST to do it on a test VP file first - just to make sure it Imports OK. If so,
then, do the Export on Save and swap out the
contents of the exported file with the text that you run your tests on
(validated).

If it is an external file, it should be enough to change frame (if text is
in frame) or chapter. Or close your pub an reopen the pub.
In most cases a jump to last page, then jump to first page and kump to
actual page should do the job too.
have a good day
