Is there a comparison somewhere between Quark and Ventura?

Somewhere in this newsgroup or the Ventura 10 newsgroup, comparisons
have been made. I do remember that somebody calculated it would take
about $10,000 in add-ons to give Quark all the features in Ventura 10.

Some years ago I installed a trial version of Quark. I was impressed with
its page-layout capabilities, but not with its ability to handle long,
complex documents.

Some things can't be compared ;-)

I'm just writing a converting modul from a special text format to Quark
Xpress Tags format, and found, importing external texts can crash XPress
while importing.

In a second (third...) try, the importing process is successful.

But this is my only experience with XPress.

have a good day
