| Two different page numbers |

I would like to use two different page numbers in a chapter: a) the page
number related to the whole publication (it continues from previous
chapters), set in the page tag; b) a different page number related to a
single chapter, but starting with 1 at the second page. Any suggestion?

The solution I have come up with is as follows. I put a frame on a page of
the chapter and I create a frame tag. Inside this frame I define a new
paragraph tag (NEWPAGE) containing a carriage return on the first page I
need to have a different page number to the general publication page number
and I turn on autonumbering for this paragraph. As soon as I have a ZSEC
paragraph created by the autonumbering feature, I define for this paragraph
a "Text before" string explaining the meaning of the new numbering
series.
Obviously, the NEWPAGE paragraph tag definition includes a page break
after. The text for the created frame (containing NEWPAGE carriage returns)
is external. Then I edit it to create as many carriage returns as pages in
the chapter. Afterwards, I copy my frame to every page in the chapter and I
make the edited text (NEWPAGE paragraphs) flow through all those frames. I
update autonumbering and I have a complete series of numbers on every page
of the chapter, apart from the general publication page numbers.
Maybe it's possible to find a simpler solution but this one works without
any doubt. Any comment?
