Vent8 - Cannot initialize hyphenation

I need to do a book in Spanish, and the "Cannot initialize
hyphenation" and 
"Failed to initialize hyphenator" error messages keep coming up, and,

needless to say, nothing is hyphenating.

I've reset the default language (in Options > Save) as well as at the 
paragraph-tag level. I've run Setup, although with the default language 
changed, the Setup wizard already showed Spanish-America, which makes it 
seem like it's not a matter of needing additional files from the 
installation disc.

Any ideas?

"Cannot initialize hyphenation" messages usually pop up when a tag is
assigned a 
different language than your default. If Czech is your default language then I 
would highlight all your paragraph tags and globally set the language to Czech.

Or you could click each tag with the properties window open to make sure they 
are all set to the same language. Either way, this will probably exorcise the 
hyphenation demon!

Okay, re-reading your post and the FAQ article, is it possible you missed a tag

or two?

Thanks, Eric,

I should have mentioned that I did look at the FAQ while attempting to 
solve. I'm only using Body Text (for now), and I did change the language on 
it, as well as for the "current" workspace.

I also tried Vent10, with similar results. I think I may be facing the very 
real prospect of manual hyphenation.

You may have already done this, but make sure you change the language for all 
tags in the stylesheet (not just the ones in use).
