| Migrating data from Z/OS V7.1 Subsystem to a V9.0 Unix Subsystem |

Business Need: Batch Cobol program that reads the data from a v7.1 DB2/ZOS
Subsystem and writes the Data onto another V7.1 DB2/ZOS Subsystem. There is a
new requirement, which is to read the data from a DB2 Subsystem on Z/OS and
write the data directly to a V9.1 Database sitting on a UNIX sever.
1. Establish a Cross subsystem communication between Mainframe V7.1 DB2
subsystem and the DB2 Subsystem on the UNIX box. Did one tried establishing
DRDA/DDF between DB2 Subsystems using diffent versions? We established DRDA
communication before between 2 DB2 subsystems using the same DB2 version and
both using Z/OS, Wondering any one tried this option ?
2. Data replication/Data Propogator. Does Data propogator Apply/Capture support
DB2 Subsystems using Different versions ?
3. Cross Loader and High performnace Unload.
Please comment on the above , Thanks in advance to all those DB2 experts.
