DB2 Spatial Extender installations based on the DB2 V8.2 code may
encounter a license failure after December 30, 2006.
This should not apply to DB2 Spatial Extender installations based on the
DB2 V8.1 code and subsequently upgraded to V8.2 or with a recent fixpack.
You can check the license status with the command:
db2licm -l
If this shows 'expired' for 'DB2GSE', you have a problem.
The attached license file can be used to apply a permanent license with
the command:
db2licm -a db2gse.lic

Attachments often don't work in newsgroups. Is there a download for the
license?

We are working on making this available for download from the Spatial
Extender web site but the process can be slow.
The attachment did appear on my commercial newsgroup server.
DB2 level 2 support is aware of the problem and the license file can
also be provided if a PMR is opened.
