| Uninstall problems with DB2 Express |

I am trying to install DB2 v8.2 (the version we currently use in our
shop) on a machine where we had previously tried to install DB2 express
(v9).
The V9 installation had failed. We ran the uninstall program and it also
fails saying that I have insufficient rights to remove a particular file
(I am an administrator on the machine).
When I try to install v8.2, it fails because it detects a later version
Any suggestions would be welcome.
