From the perspective of MS SQL Server, that would be a question more
appropriate to a forum on that product. The DB2 side accepts a wide
variety of means to access its data directly.
From the perspective of i5/OS, that can be accomplished simply by
invoking the CPYTOIMPF database file export feature, specifying that the
stream file that is generated for text export be placed on a file share
defined to the target system.
