Dear All
I have a single server MOSS 2007 deployment, DPM is protecting it.
If I restore an entire content database, the recovery completes without any
issues.
If I attempt an item level recovery, using the recovery farm, DPM fails to
recover my data.
The "Disk Recovery" task fails with the following error: DPM Failed to
recover all the files. (ID 30120 Details: Unspecified error (0x80004005))
The "Post-recovery operation" fails due to the "Disk
Recovery" task failing.
The advice on technet suggests I try restoring to a different location or
choosing a different replica, but I've tried different documents and
different replicas!
If anyone can shed any light on why this is happening, I'd appreciate it.
All the protection pre-requisites have been met in terms of service packs
and patches.
I can also restore content databases from the recovery farm back to the
recovery farm with no issues.
Regards

Guy's
Any info on this? Is anyone doing item level restores sucessfully? This is
really bugging me now.
I've got the budget to buy DPM, but if I can't get it working I can't buy
it!
Regards
Conrad
