Replica in Inconsistent Allso with DMP2007

Replica in Inconsistent Allso with DMP2007
Tue, 15 Apr 2008 08:42:06 -070
I too am getting replica is inconsistent messages with DMp 2007. Here is the
message:
Affected area:	C:\
Occurred since:	4/15/2008 10:03:28 AM
Description:	The replica of Volume C:\ on LIB-PCLCZ055.austin.utexas.edu is
inconsistent with the protected data source. All protection activities for
data source will fail until the replica is synchronized with consistency
check. You can recover data from existing recovery points, but new recovery
points cannot be created until the replica is consistent (ID 3106)
DPM has run out of free space on the recovery point volume and will fail
synchronization for C:\ on LIB-PCLCZ055.austin.utexas.edu in order to prevent
existing recovery points from being deleted. (ID 30195 Details: Internal
error code: 0x80990AB2)
Recommended action:	1) Increase the space allocated for the recovery point
volume for C:\.
2) Retry the operation after increasing the space for the recovery point
volume.
	Synchronize with consistency check.
Run a synchronization job with consistency check...
Resolution:	To dismiss the alert, click below
	Inactivate alert

The servers are running Server 2003. I tried increasing the space of the
recovery point volume by 10 GB and it still gives this error.

I am also seeing these weird Warning evetnts:

The volume is 23.57 GB
The Replica Volume is 36.32 GB
The Recovery Volume is 3.98 GB

The Replica and Recovery sizes were the defaults calculated by DPM.

THis server is running SQL 2005 and SCCM. It should be backed up once per day.

DPM proactively fails synchronization if Recovery point volume is about to
run out of space. What is the size of the data under protection? Do you have
heavy churn on the protected volume? This would directly relate to recovery
point volume consumption.

You had earlier replied as "I tried increasing the space of the recovery
point volume by 10 GB and it still gives this error."

But, I still see the recovery volume as 3.98 GB. Please increase the
recovery volume size and retry synchronization.
