| DPM installation bug? (failure on reporting server user creation) |

Hello,
I built a new DPM 2007 server running on W2K3 R2 SP2 64bit. During the
final step of the installation, DPM setup fails with an error and states:
_________________________________
Report configuration failed.
Verify that SQL Server Reporting Services is installed properly and that it
is running.
ID: 812

Upon review of the log file, it shows that the Reporting Service was
creating a user and then tried to set the password for the account, which
failed. The system response to DPM was "Password to Short".
We force complex passwords with minimum lengths for domain and local
accounts. I was able to work around the issue by temporarily setting the GPO
password policy to Not Defined on our DC, then refreshed the GP on the DPM
server with gpupdate. I ran the install again and it was successful.
