Database Analysis, Report Analysis Question

This probably is not the appropriate place for this question, but it is a 
starting point

I am in the analysis phase of a database application. I have identified the 
information that will be maintained, and have identified a number of reports 
that I would like to prepare based upon that information.

I have a Relational/Entity model (presented as a UML model) for the 
information (note this is analysis, not design) that is to be maintained by 
the database. If it were a design activity, there would be queries that 
serve to retrieve the data which will be presented in the various reports.

How on earth does this report related information get modeled (both at the 
analysis stage and the design stage)?

I am not worried about the presentation aspects of the reports, just the 
information content
