Delphi updates
Mon, 07 Apr 2008 12:02:13 -070
Hi,

Not sure if this is the correct group but here goes.

Just had a major crash and have had to reinstall D5Ent, I need the
D5Ent update and went to Borland's site and logged in as a registered
user from way back.

http://info.borland.com/devsupport/delphi/downloads/dent501download.html

I clicked the download link for D5Ent English and I get a "451 and
Permission Denied."

Can anyone tell me what I have to do to get the update pack?

Yeah, I know I should have had a back up of it. <g> Human frailty
strikes again. LOL

Thanks for any help

2 suggestions - post the web site error in borland.public.website
file a support case at http://support.codegear.com support cases are
supposed to be free.

Newsgroups aren't officially monitored by Borland/Codegear staff anymore.

Thanks very much Brion.

It is moot now as I remembered I had a copy of the update on an a
laptop that died last year. I pulled the hard drive and was able to
get it off that. Just glad I didn't trash the laptop when it died.
<grin> I have added the update to a CD.

Gary.

See, that's exactly why I'm not a pack rat, I'm a "disaster recovery
specialist!" Somehow my wife doesn't see it the same way.
