Hi,
I need to do compression in Delphi. I googled around and found the
Delphi provide ZLIB for compression and decompression. I tried to learn
it and looked around for some tutorials but unable to get a nice one.
Please any one of you give me some guidline for using ZLIB or point me
to some nice tutorial.
P.S:
I don't know whether it is appropriate newsgroup for asking about ZLIB.
If i am wrong then i apologize and please tell me where should i post
this question.
Cheers,

You could look at the ZLBArchive component. It's written by myself,
it uses ZLIB and creates archive files.
There is a demo application that comes with the component.
you can find it here
http://www.mills-enterprise.ca/download/zlbar200.zip
http://www.mills-enterprise.ca/software/software_set.htm click on the
delphi link to read some more information about the component and the
demos.
