How does Entitlements work when we attached to a role
Wed, 26 Mar 2008 06:46:02 GMT
Hi

I have created an entitlement through designer M4 and attached it to a
role and deployed it .I logged in User Application and accessed the
Role.

How does this entitlement can be viewed in User Application?
How this entitlement works when i access the role?

Can anyone help me out.

If you are looking at the role properties in the User Application, there's
a read-only string representing the entitlement DN and the entitlement
parameter (if a parameter is available).

I'm not sure what you mean by "How does Entitlement works...".
Nothing
happens in the User Application until you assign the role to a user
(directly or through a group or container). When the assignment happens,
the entitlement will be granted to the user (possibly pending an approval).
